Best wishes to you in 2012!
I'm a happily married father of a one-year old boy.
Anna and I have a wonderful home that we continue to make our own.
The dogs keep us on our toes and are great pals to our boy.
We live in a quiet neighborhood where we have many great friends.
I'm training in boot camp classes for a couple of obstacle
course races,
the Gladiator
Rock N Run with Anna and
Tough Mudder with a
group of friends.
Looking forward to re-living the mental and physical tests of strength and
endurance.
Professionally, I'm not your typical Finance person.
I've found great opportunities along the way that are not
your "normal" path.
Started out working for my Dad's law firm doing billing, collections, and
accounting when I was 15.
I used the bankruptcy knowledge learned there to start a company
doing bankruptcy consulting, debtor-in-possession reporting, and plans of
reorganization.
The next logical step was to start creating business plans
for companies in need of debt and equity funding.
Unfortunately, along came the dot-com crash, so funding dried up.
So, I took the opportunity to learn the sales side of
banking, finance, and investments.
Life came full circle, and I'm back on the strategic side
of finance,
where I manage two of the largest and most complex Divisions in our bank.
